Honestly, OOFOS Sandals are like walking on clouds

by | Feb 28, 2020

I know my husband loves me, especially when I see he left his OOFOS Sandals at the top of the stairs where I’d definitely see them. He knows that I like to wear them because, let’s face it – your body gets a little less “reliable” once you hit a certain age!  He knows that I have a bad knee from exercising incorrectly, and he also knows that because my knee is getting better, I am back running on the treadmill and exercising.  I know it probably sounds goofy when I say this, but  (well, I am actually kind of goofy, so…)  – when I saw these at the top of the stairs for me to wear that day, the first thing I thought is about how much my husband loves me.

Oofos sandalsMy husband went to a golf tournament in Massachusetts last year and came back home with some major swag. One of these swag items was an interesting looking pair of sandals. I’d never heard of the brand but thought it was pretty cool that they were giving these things away. Not long afterwards he says to me “You HAVE to try these on”  and I did – and it was like walking on cushions!  Cushions doesn’t even describe it.  Clouds?  Yes, clouds, like firm, bouncy clouds.

OOFOS website says their “revolutionary technology absorbs 37% more impact than traditional footwear foam materials to reduce the stress on your feet and joints”. I would have to agree, though for me personally (and my husband) I’d say it is more like 50% or more – that’s just my own opinion. On top of that, every purchase on OOFOS.com contributes to their stated goal of finding a cure for breast cancer. Socially aware as well as a producer of a very comfortable, healthy alternative to casual footwear? Who could ask for more than that?

My husband really started wearing these anytime he was around the house when his plantar fasciitis started up again. He’d suffered with it in the past, to the point of getting steroid injections in his foot that he said was incredibly painful. He did not want to have to go through that again. He felt that his OOFOS sandals definitely helped him along with stretching his feet. Though I don’t know if they suggest these are good for that foot problem, I know in his case he feels they help immensely.

I can’t tell you how much these OOFOS Sandals help me on our kitchen tile floor. I spend a lot of time in the kitchen obviously, either just hanging out like we do, or preparing meals. My back and legs can get very sore and tired sometimes, depending on what I am wearing on my feet.  Without a doubt, the most comfortable footwear I can wear is my husband’s OOFOS.  The only problem here is, his OOFOS are men’s size 10’s.  I really need to get myself a pair of women’s size 8’s sometime!  I had hoped Santa would bring some, but he didn’t.

So until I get my own, I walk around in my husband’s size tens – that is, when he’s not wearing them.  And since they’re way too big for me I walk in them carefully!  But it’s totally worth it. They really, honestly make my legs and back feel no ache or pain at all.  If you or someone you know has leg, knee, ankle or back pain – or even plantar fasciitis like my husband had, you should consider purchasing a pair of OOFOS, I don’t think you’ll regret it for one second!

Long time supporter, and thought I’d drop a comment.

Your wordpress site is very sleek – hope you don’t mind me
asking what theme you’re using? (and don’t mind if I steal it?

I just launched my site –also built in wordpress
like yours– but the theme slows (!) the site down quite a bit.

In case you have a minute, you can find it by searching for “royal cbd” on Google (would appreciate any feedback) – it’s still in the works.

Keep up the good work– and hope you all take care of yourself during
    the coronavirus scare!
